About Us

Satyachetana Educational Trust (SCET) was established in May 2003 in India. As envisioned by Swami Sri Atmanandaji Maharaj, founder of the Satyachetana International Spiritual Movement,  SCET’s mission is to work for the holistic development of the material and spiritual sides of the individual, and to ensure their harmonious manifestation through the mind, body, and everyday life.

The Satya Chetana Educational Trust has been established to:

  1. Spread values-based education;
  2. Protect and expand the ancient Vedic wisdom of India;
  3. Render assistance to meritorious and needy students to pursue higher education and to help them to lead a noble life in the future;
  4. Create infrastructure for values-based education;
  5. Spread the message of universal love and cosmic oneness;
  6. Establish educational institutions; and
  7. Print, publish, and distribute educational materials.

Veda Research Institute

The principal objective of Veda Research Institute (VRI) is to decode the secret of the Vedas through study, research and application to day-to-day life. Various courses launched by VRI are designed to help mankind benefit from the eternal wisdom of the Vedas and promote harmony on the planet. Located at Tiruvannamalai, the world-famous spiritual city, on the northwest side of the holy mountain Arunachala, VRI aims to transmit the light and force of the Vedas to the whole planet.
